Businesses can save a lot on travel costs and time by using Video Conferencing for meetings between distant offices. Viacon is a video conferencing from CIS at its headquarters in G-5/2 Islamabad. For this facility, a video conferencing studio has been designed. Polycom VSX7000 equipment is used for the video conferencing service. A dedicated speed of 1Mbps (CIR) is used for the video conferencing service which provides a high quality video stream without any jitters. This service can be made available at customer premises also for which there is an extra charge. Setup can be arranged in a short time. At present, video conferencing is available in Islamabad but will be available in Karachi also by mid of 2011. The video conferencing facility is available in hourly and daily packages.
